Bandai Namco Entertainment

PRODUCER, Bandai Namco Entertainment

Yosuke Futami

As a game producer of anime titles, I was able to work with Reki Kawahara (original novel author of SAO series) and also Tsukasa Fushimi (original novel author of Oreimo series). By closely working and communicating with original authors to create game story scenarios, I was able to feel directly the game to achieve more close quality and atmosphere/air as the one which original novels have. Through the development of these games, we had phone calls around 2 AM, and had decided to add extra scenario, and also had asked authors to supervise game demo scenes / screenplays until right before the game master data creation.
It is really a rare situation that we could receive comments or requests about the game contents directly from original authors, and I really appreciated and felt really lucky that I had a chance to meet all people who related to original novel, animations and also game development to build such rare environment, and because of having such met with them, I strongly believe I could be able to release these games to the world.

Akihito Chiba

I’ve been a lifelong fan of the anime/manga/gaming culture. In fact, my generation was called the “Super Famicom” generation and I grew up playing its games.
That is what got me into this particular sector: as I was playing, I started to think “Hey, I want to produce these games!”. Since then, I’ve pursed to my dream and finally it has come true with one of my favorite franchises!

Gundam is a huge IP all over the world, and the EXTREME VS. series has a long and rich history. I’m happy to be involved this project since 2019 and be a part of its next steps!
